Summit Power Ltd awarded for Corporate Governance Excellence

Summit Power Limited (SPL) has been awarded the 7th ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2019 at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, Dhaka. The Managing Director of Summit Power Limited (SPL) Lt Gen Abdul Wadud (Rtd) received the award from the Honorable Minister for Commerce Tipu Munshi MP. This is the sixth time that Summit Power Limited has received this recognition from the ICSB.

Muhammed Aziz Khan, Chairman, Summit Group of Companies remarked on SPL receiving the award, “Governance is the only way to sustainable development thus Summit will always uphold highest corporate governance to move the country toward more governance and growth.”

Dr Md Jafar Uddin, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Chairman, BSEC were present at the event as the special guests. In addition, Mohammad Sanaullah FCS, Chairman-CG Committee, Muzaffar Ahmed FMA, FCS, President, ICSB, Salman Khan, Director of Summit Group along with senior officials were present at the event.
