Personal Information

Summit Power International receives personal information from its visitors only when a visitor voluntarily provides the information. Voluntary information is provided when a visitor requests information via a form on the website. The personally identifiable information that you provide Summit Power International will, in most cases, be used to fulfil your request. In making this request, you are establishing a relationship with Summit Power International and may receive informational communications from us in addition to the information that you have requested. If you do not wish to receive additional communications, you will be given the ability to easily remove your information from a specific communications list or even all future communications from our organization. Summit Power International does not share, sell, or distribute personal information unless compelled to do so by a law enforcement agency or subpoena.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

In some cases Summit Power International collects generic information from visitors on the website. This information may include, but is not limited to, the Internet protocol (IP) addresses, information provided by user-agents YOU have configured on your computer, tracking scripts we execute on our website, and cookies we may place on your computer. The information collected is used solely to help us better understand how this website is being used and provide us insight on how we can provide a better experience for our visitors. We do not share our user experience based information with any other organizations nor allow for it to be aggregated for purposes outside of internal usage. Summit Power International will take appropriate measures in its sole discretion to protect the security of your digital information. Regardless, by submitting your personal information to this website, you acknowledge that certain inherent risks exist in the use of transmitting information electronically, and you completely indemnify Summit Power International and its agents, employees, and assigns. In conjunction with the sale of any of its interest, Summit Power International reserves the right to sell or transfer your information to any party that acquires some or part of Summit Power International.

Additional Notes:

  1. This request may take 15 days to be fulfilled. Should SPI require more time, our DPO shall email to you at your email provided before the end of 15 days.
  2. As the disclosure of personal data is sensitive, SPI may require you to provide proof or evidence of your identity if your request is received via email for your personal data or another person’s personal data, before we process your request. You should also provide legal authorization if you are applying on behalf of another person.
  3. If your request is not granted, SPI shall provide you with sufficient reasons, which may be those exceptions provided under the PDPA or other written law.
  4. After your application is received and is satisfactory, SPI shall acknowledge your request via an email to you.
