Tariqur Rashid is working as DMD of Summit Meghnaghat Power Co. Ltd. and Summit Bibiyana II Power Co. Ltd.

He has depth experience in development of power generation and structured finance of power projects. In his career, he has developed or managed over power plants with aggregate capacity of around 750MW.

Mr. Rashid back in 2011 headed a company named as Summit Narayanganj Power Limited” that owns and operates a rental power project of 102MW at Madanganj, Narayanganj, Bangladesh. Under his leadership, the project achieved COD within 8.5 months, which feat earned an international award titled “Best Fast Track Project in Asia” for this project in 2011. He holds a bachelor degree in engineering.
