Daewoo and Summit discuss energy infrastructure opportunities in Bangladesh

Mr Jung Won-ju, Chairman of Daewoo Engineering & Construction, a leading construction company in South Korea with world-class expertise in power plant design and construction in various fields such as nuclear power, thermal power, and hydroelectric power plants among others, met with Mr Muhammed Aziz Khan, Chairman of Summit Group, the largest infrastructure conglomerate in Bangladesh. They discussed cooperation related to oil facilities and real estate development projects in Bangladesh.

A Daewoo Construction official stated, "Chairman Jung Won-Ju's business trip this time aimed to strengthen collaboration networks with global companies and to expand Daewoo E&C's real estate development and new business areas based on these networks." They added, "Efforts will continue to solidify our position as a global construction developer in the future."

Senior officials of Summit including Ms Ayesha Aziz Khan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Summit Power International (SPI), Mr Wu Yan Bin, Chief Financial Officer, SPI, Darren Chua, GM, M&A and Commercial, SPI also welcomed the Daewoo delegates.
